Jerusalem-Holy Land: In a continuation of a long-standing tradition of inter-church fellowship, the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood led by Patriarch Theophilos visited the Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem on January 20, 2025, to celebrate Christmas with their Armenian counterparts.

This reciprocal visit followed a previous visit from the Armenian Patriarchate, highlighting the strong and enduring bonds between the two Christian communities in the Holy City.

His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, along with members of the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood, was warmly welcomed by Patriarch Nourhan Manougian and the Armenian Brotherhood. Patriarch Theophilos addressed the gathering, expressing his best wishes for the Christmas season.

Following Patriarch Nourhan Manougian’s address, the celebration continued with prayers and a reception.

These inter-church visits are a testament to the deep-rooted ties and shared Christian heritage of the Greek Orthodox and Armenian Orthodox communities in Jerusalem, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
