Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church Consecrates Six New Bishops

Yerevan-Armenia: On November 3rd, as six new bishops were consecrated by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
The consecration ceremony, held during the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral, was attended by prominent figures from the Armenian Church, including the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople, Archbishop Sahak Mashalyan, and numerous diocesan leaders.
The newly consecrated bishops are:
- Bishop Aren Shahenyan: Diocese of Argentina and Chile
- Bishop Grigor Khachatryan: Diocese of France
- Bishop Narek Avagyan: Diocese of Artik
- Bishop Makar Hakobyan: Diocese of Syunyats
- Bishop Partev Barseghyan: Diocese of Gegharkunyats
- Bishop Khoren Arakelyan: Diocese of Greece
In his address, Catholicos Karekin II emphasized the significant role of bishops in strengthening the Armenian Church and serving the spiritual needs of the Armenian people. He urged the newly consecrated bishops to remain steadfast in their faith and to dedicate themselves to the mission of the Church.
