Archimandrite Makarii (Yushchenko) Consecrated as the Bishop of Gorno-Altaisk and Chemal

Moscow- Russia: Archimandrite Makarii (Yushchenko) was consecrated as the Bishop of Gorno-Altaisk and Chemal at the Church of the Resurrection of Christ and the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church of the Sretensky Stavropegic Monastery in Moscow. on September 09,2024. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ led the consecration with members of Holy Synod.

Archimandrite Makarii (Yushchenko) was elected by the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on July 25,2024.

Bishop Makarii (Yushchenko) of Gorno-Altaisk and Chemal was born October 27, 1976 in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo Region.
