Archimandrite Gabriel (Melnikov) Consecrated as the Bishop of Naberezhnye Chelny and Yelabuga

Moscow- Russia: Archimandrite Gabriel (Melnikov) was consecrated as the Bishop of Naberezhnye Chelny and Yelabuga at the Donskoy Stavropegic Monastery in Moscow on September 01,2024. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ led the consecration with members of Holy Synod.

Archimandrite Gabriel (Melnikov) was elected by the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on July 25,2024.

Bishop Feognost (Ilnitsky) of Naberezhnye Chelny and Yelabuga was born on August 15, 1974 in Voronezh.
