Moscow – Russia: On June 12, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia extended his heartfelt congratulations to Narendra Modi on his re-election as the Prime Minister of the Republic of India. This marks Modi’s third consecutive term, a milestone in modern Indian politics since the era of Jawaharlal Nehru, reflecting the strong confidence of Indian citizens in his leadership.

In his congratulatory message, Patriarch Kirill highlighted the historic and friendly relations between the Russian and Indian peoples, emphasizing the significant role of religious and cultural traditions in reinforcing these ties.
