Kyiv – Ukraine: On August 14, 2023, the program “Spiritual restoration through culture” was presented for the military in the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”. The website mkip.gov.ua reports this, the Information and Education Department of the UOC reports.

It is noted that within the framework of the program, the military can stay on the territory of the Lavra from 1 to 7 days.

“Participants can take part in archaeological excavations, master classes on icon painting, inspect museum exhibits, and explore the territories of the Upper and Lower Lavra, its caves, accompanied by lecturers-guides. In addition, the military can take part in religious services and communicate with the spiritual mentors and monks of the Lavra,” the message reads.
