Two New Archbishops Consecrated for the Syriac Orthodox Church

Lebanon: Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II consecrated two new Archbishops on June 09, 2023, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh, Lebanon.
Rev. Raban Andrawos Bahhi was consecrated as Archbishop Mor Andrawos (Patriarchal Vicar for the Youth and Christian Education) and Very Rev. Raban Augeen Alkass, was consecrated as Archbishop Mor Augeen (Patriarchal Secretary).
Members of the Holy Syrian Orthodox Synod took part in the consecration. His Holiness was assisted in the Qurobo by their Eminences: Mor Timotheos Moussa Al-Shamani, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Mor Mattai Monastery, Mor Dionysius Jean Kawak, Patriarchal Vicar for the Archdiocese of the Eastern United States of America, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, and Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub, Patriarchal Vicar for Jerusalem, Jordan and the Holy Land.
