Photo contest: “Easter in Christian East” – Participate and Earn Exciting Prizes

On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (I.A.O.) and in cooperation with OrthPhoto.net the I.A.O. is organizing a photo contest. Aim of the contest is to present the diversity and beauty of the celebration of Easter, the most important feast in Orthodox Church and show how the great feast of Pascha is celebrated throughout the Orthodox cultures.

Topic of the contest is “Easter in Christian East”.

The best submitted photos will be published in an album and presented on exhibition.

We look forward to receiving your photos from Great Lent, Holy week, Palm Sunday, Easter, Ascension and Pentecost.

We hope that we will be able to spread the orthodox tradition as wide as possible and we are waiting for your photos! Please, invite your friends!

Entries must be received between 1st of February and 1st of June 2013.

There are three prizes (sponsored by the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy): 1st Prize (1200€), 2nd Prize (800€) and the 3rd prize (500€).

The winners will be announced and rewarded at the Anniversary of the 20th I.A.O. General Assembly in Athens, end of June 2013.

Converting to Indian Rupess the prize amount will be as follwos (conversion rates are subject to change)

1st Prize : Rs 87,144 (1200€), 2nd Prize : Rs 58,096(800€), 3rd Prize : Rs 36,310 (500 €)
