Cairo: During his visit to Egypt, Patriarch Abune Mathais of Ethiopia met with Ahmed el-Tayeb who is the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar. They had a cordial meeting and discussed various topics of interest.
The Patriarch and the delegation along with Pope Tawadros II also met with His Excellency Abdul Fattah al-Sisi the President of Egypt.
