On Tuesday, October 4, 2011, His All-Holiness presided over deliberations of the new session of Holy and Sacred Synod.
The members for the new period (September 2011-February 2012) include Metropolitans Geron Constantine of Nikaia, Gregorios of Thyateira and Great Britain, Ambrosios of Karpathos and Kasos, John of Pergamon, Iakovos of the Princes Islands, Meliton of Philadelphia, Demetrios of Sebasteia, Gerasimos of San Francisco, Evgenios of Rethimnon and Avlopotamos, Ambrosios of Korea, Stephanos of Kallioupolis and Maditon, and Elpidophoros of Proussa.
