Superior Administrative Court Finds Legal Bestowing Hero Of Ukraine Title To Metropolite Volodymyr Of Ukrainian Orthodox Church Of Moscow Patriarchate

The Superior Administrative Court has found legal President Viktor Yanukovych’s decree on bestowing Hero of Ukraine title to Metropolite Volodymyr, head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate.
The Court has announced this decision at a sitting.
Thus, the Court dismissed a relevant suit Anatolii Ilchenko, a pensioner from Mykolaiv, filed against the President to rule this decree unlawful.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Yanukovych in July awarded Volodymyr with the Hero of Ukraine title.
