New Metropolitan Consecrated for Syriac Orthodox Church

Lebanon/Beirut: A a new Metropolitan has been consecrated for the Syriac Orthodox Church. Monk Priest Very Rev. Nathaniel Joseph was consecrated as Mor Barthelmaues on 26th April 2012 for the Archdioceses of Arabian Gulf by Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas -Patriarch of Antioch and All East.
Several Syriac Orthodox Prelates and many faithful participated in the divine ceremony.
