Kidnapped Metropolitan’s Paul and Yuhanaon of Aleppo, Detained Archbishop Jovan of Orhid, House arrested former Patriarch Irenios of Jerusalem and detained Patriarch Abune Antonios of Eritrea.

Global: The Secretariat of the Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society has called for prayers and help for the safe release of the five Orthodox Christian Prelates who are detained indifferent part of the world. We all need to act together as one force within our own capacity for the detained and persecuted spiritual shepherds of Orthodoxy.

Let us all pray for the safe return of Orthodox Prelates who under illegal detention.  Kindly keep them all in your humble prayers. Orthodox Prelates and hierarch’s are hereby requested to remember them in Divine Liturgy

The Kidnapped Metropolitan’s Yohanna Ibrahim and Boulos Yazigi of Aleppo in Syria

It more than a year since the two renowned Orthodox prelates of Aleppo has been under captivity of the armed gadgets as part of the terrorist uprising in Syria. There are no proper information on their whereabouts.

Detained Archbishop Jovan IV of Orhid of the Serbian Orthodox Patriarchate in Macedonia

Archbishop Jovan of Orhid has been detained in Macedonia by the governmental authorities since 2011. He has been imprisoned under various false charges.

Detained Patriarch Abune Antonios of Eretria

The Canonical Patriarch of Eretria Abune Antonios is under house arrest since 2007. The Patriarch has been detained in a secret location within the Capital City of Asmara by the governmental authorities.

House Arrested Former Patriarch Irenious of Jerusalem

Former Patriarch Irenios of Jerusalem had become the victim of a well-planned real estate scam in Jerusalem. Investigation report says that he was trapped and cheated. The Patriarch was demoted to the rank of a monk  by the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem. He is locked up in a room since 2005. He survives on the food items provided by a Muslim man who lives nearby.
