Ecumenical Prayer for the Release of the Abducted Bishops and for the Christians in Syria and Iraq

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II presided over an ecumenical prayer with His Beatitude Patriarch John X in the presence of archbishops and priests from the different churches (Greek Orthodox, Greek Catholic and Maronite). The prayer was also attended by His Excellency Mr. Talal Al-Barazi, Governor of Homs. Their Eminences Mor Selwanos Boutros Al-Nehmeh, Archbishop of Homs, Hama and Environs and Mor Dionysius Jean Kawak, Patriarchal Office Director also participated.
His Holiness and His Beatitude prayed for the safe return of their Eminences Archbishops of Aleppo Boulos Yaziji and Mor Gregorius Youhanna Ibrahim and for the Christians in Syria and Iraq.
