Divine Liturgy of Oath for Pan ACYO Officers and Requiem Service for National philanthropists Alex and Marie Manoogian
On July 5, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; a Divine Liturgy was held in the Mother Cathedral, which was attended by delegates to the 3rd Pan- Armenian Church Youth Organization ACYO World Assembly.
The celebrant was His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderyan, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.
During the Divine Liturgy, Archbishop Hovnan welcomed the ACYO representatives, who came from different dioceses to become witness of the mystery of the Mother See, to live with the presence of God, and to return to their dioceses transformed, as Christ’s apostles and Ambassadors of our Holy Church.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, under the presidency of the Catholicos of All Armenians; and with the presence of philanthropists of the Mother See and Armenian pilgrim sons and daughters, a requiem service was held for the eternally blessed deceased members of the Manoogian family, and for the repose of souls and peace of the philanthropists of the Armenian nation, Mr. and Mrs. Alex and Marie Manoogian.
