Cairo: Eighty Five Bishops/ Metropolitan’s participated in the voting process.Bishop Anba Armia was the last Bishop to vote & seven Bishops did not vote namely Bishop Takla , Bishop Amonios , Bishop Mettias Bishop Serabion , Bishop Paules , Bishop Pephnotios and Metropolitan Mikhaael.
A total of 2311 had cast their votes out of the total 2411 including Bishops and faithful.
Expectations/Predictions :
It is said that there is chance for Bishop Raphael , Bishop Tawadros and Father Raphael Avva Mina to be elected. It has been reported that majority of them voted in favor of Bishop Raphael and Bishop Tawadros followed by Father Raphael Ava Mina . The first indications of the voting process was that Bishop Raphael had a complete chance to gain majority of the votes.
