Catholicos Baselios Marthoma Dydimos I laid to rest at Mount Tabore Monastery

India/Kerala: Former head of the Indian Malankara Orthodox Church, Catholicos of the East on the Apostolic throne of St. Thomas have been laid to rest at the Mount Tabore Monastery in Kerala.

Large number of faithful paid their final respect and homage to the former spiritual leader of the Indian Church. Inter-orthodox delegations and various ecumenical body representations visited the mortal remains. Funeral services were lead by His Holiness Catholicos Baselios Marthoma Paulose II whos is currently leading the Church.
