Archbishop Entos Visits Asebot Debre Monastry Affected with Forest Fire

Addis-Ababa: Abuna Entos, the Archbishop of West Harerege visited Asebot Debre Monastry to mollify monks and to bless the youth. The monastery has been fighting a wildfire since Sunday. Liqe Hiruya, Rev. Qesis Dereje, the manager of the diocese and Memihere Efrem Zedebre Weggeg stated that the fire is almost out of control. Archbishop Entos visited the areas affected by the fire and stated that the fire has been spreading in two directions and may change to a new direction anytime soon. The prelate also called for further human force and inclusive support.

The Asebe Teferi centre of Mahebere Kidusan has opened a bank account in the commercial bank of Ethiopia (CBE 1000023696798) to provide support for those who have been affected by the forest fire to support with basic amenities.
