I.A.O. delegates pay respect to Late Catholicos Baselios Marthoma Dydimos I of the East
Interparliamentary Assembly On Orthodoxy – 28/5/14
India/Kerala/Kottayam: The I.A.O. delegates who are on a working visit to Kerala paid their respect and homage to the mortal remain of the late Catholicos Baselios Marthoma Dydimos I of the East.
The delegation included honorable Anastasios Nerantzis, Greek MP, Gen Secretary of IAO, honorable Sergei Pavlovich Ibukhof, Russian MP, honorable Kostas Migdalis, Advisor to IAO, Greece, honorable Valery Alexeev, Advisor to IAO, Russia, honorable Miss Lily Vartanian, interpreter, secretariat staff person.
The delegation paid their final respect to the late Catholicos at the at St. Mary`s Cathedral Mavelikkara in Alappuzha district. They were lead by Fr.KM George and Joseph M Puthusesery (Parliamentarian).
Russian MP and Duma Member Mr Sergy Poulovich expressed their condolences on behalf the I.A.O. as well as the Greek and Russian Orthodox Churches.
