78th International conference of the Orthodox Christian Youth Movement of the East Held

India/Kerala/Peerimedu: The 78th International conference of the Orthodox Christian Youth Movement of the East Held of the East was held at Mar Baselious Nagar( MBC CET, Peermade,Idukki) from 11th Sept to 13th Sept 2014.

The main theme of the conference is ‘The Rhythem of Social commitment’. More than 360 delegates from various parts of the country attends the event. His Holiness Baselius Marthoma Paulose II – Catholicos of the East on the Apostolic Throne of St Thomas and Metropolitan of Malankara – Primate of the Indian Orthodox Malankara Church inaugurated the conference. Metropolitan’s Their Graces Youhanon Polycarpos, Mathews Sevarious, Mathews Theodocious, Zakharhia Aprem were present for the occasion.

Socio-political leaders like Mr. Jijo Chittali (Director KENSHU Foundation), Sist Daya Bahai (Social refomer) Prof Mary Mathew( Sec. Martha mariam Samajam) Mr. Raju Abraham, Mrs E S Biji Mol(MAL’s) Adv. PT Thomas (Ex MP,) Adv.M Liju led the various sections.
