Bilingual Service, September 13, 2020: Consecration of Mgr. Willard G. Dionne as Coadjutor Bishop, on Holy Cross Sunday. Celebrant: Mgr. Serge A. Theriault, Ordinary of the Christian Catholic Rite (ICCC), assisted by Bishop Seraphim Gondek of the independent Anglican Church, Canada Synod. The theme of the sermon is: “The Holy Cross: History, Meaning and Relevance to Bishop Dionne’s Consecration.”
The Christian Catholic Church is the continuation of the original Church movement initiated by Archbishop Rene Vilatte. The Church is located in Ottawa and it is a member of the International Council of Community Churches (ICC).
Since 2017, the Christian Catholic Church and the autonomous Center for Orthodox Studies (COS) of the Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society collaborate in the field of Western Rite Orthodox Research.
