Serbian Prime Minister Mr. Ivica Dacic and His Grace Bishop Andrej of Remesiana, vicar of Serbian Patriarch, thanked yesterday the firemen from Serbia, who participated in extingushing the fire on the Mount Athos near the Hilandar monastery.

The leader of the firemen squad Goran Nikolić said that his men with his Greek colleagues were extuinguishing the fire on Mountt Athos night and day, almost without the rest, and monks also helped them.

His Grace Bishop Andrej of Remesiana said that Serbian firefighters on Mount Athos saw that the rain suddenly fell from the sky when they it was the hardest for them and helped them in puting out the fire.
