Alma-Ata-Kazakhstan: ‘Metropolitan Nicholas – Prelate of Alma-Ata’ is a short documentary film bout Nicholas (Mogilevsky) of Alma-Ata and Kazakhstan who was the first bishop of the Metropolis of Alma-Ata and Kazakhstan of the Russian Orthodox Church. Directed by V.L. Posadneva, the film the documentary film features unique archival video and photo chronicles, interviews. The documentary was originally released on YouTube in 2016 in the Russian language.

The film depicts the life, selfless service to God and the spiritual heritage of the archpastor and confessor, who played a crucial role in the renewal of church life in Kazakhstan after the Great Patriotic War.
