The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate claims improvement in the condition of Metropolitan Vladimir, archpriest Heorhii Kovalenko, the press secretary to the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, has told Ukrainian News.
“Yes,” he answered to the question if the Metropolitan’s condition had improved.
He underlined hereto that Vladimir was feeling normal and this state was stable.
The press secretary says that on November 6 the Metropolitan took communion.
Kovalenko also passed on gratitude of the church primate for the prayers for his health.
He disclosed no other details.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Kovalenko said doctors expected changes in the condition of Metropolitan Vladimir on November 6 or 7.
Metropolitan Vladimir, 75, on October 30 was admitted to hospital in grave condition
As of the November 2 evening, doctors diagnosed stably grave condition of the Metropolitan.
In late September Vladimir was discharged from hospital where he had been recovering after the September 16 surgery in connection with cervical hip fracture.
