Armenian Catholicos presides over groundbreaking of spiritual and Educational Center

ETCHMIADZIN. – Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on Saturday presided over the groundbreaking ceremony of the Karekin I (the late previous Catholicos) Spiritual and Educational Center, whose construction is underway at the Holy See of St. Etchmiadzin.

The Center is being built with the donation by Hayk and Elza Titizian, and its architect is Artavazd Nazaretyan.

The event brought together Armenian Apostolic Church delegates who arrived in the Holy See, the latter’s Press Center informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

After blessing of the building’s foundations, the record, which was prepared on this occasion, was read.
