U.S. Senator visits Phanar

On Thursday, September 4, 2012, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, accompanied by the U.S. Consul General, the Hon. Scott Kilner, visited the Phanar where she was received by His All-Holiness. Issues discussed during the meeting included the reopening of the Theological School of Halki and the situation in the Middle East.
