The Seventh Enthronement Annivessery of Metropolitan Onufriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine Celebrated

Kyiv- Ukraine: The seventh enthronement anniversary of Metropolitan Onufriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) was held in Kyiv on the 17th of August 2021. As part of the celebration, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated on the main square of the Assumption Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

“His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy shows by his way of life what a true Christian should be like. He is a peaceful man, a man of great Christian virtues, and a good monk. He is a model of the Orthodox Christian to which each of us aspires. That is why he is an undisputed authority for all believers in Ukraine” commented Metropolitan Anthony of Borispol and Brovary, the Chancellor of the Ukrinain Orthodox Church.

Several faithful, bishops, clergy, monks and nuns took part in the grand celebration.
