Tikhvin Icon Consecrated for the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan: A unique copy of the famous Tikhvin Icon of the Holy Theotokos was Consecrated for the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan. The icon is written by Alexey Kuznetsov and Elena Evsina. The consecration was held at the Tikhvin Assumption Monastery in Russia by Metropolitan Alexander, the head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan

The icon will be soon delivered to Kazakhstan by Metropolitan Alexander on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the nation.
