The Russian Orthodox Church Deliver Regular Aid to Philippines

Manila-Philippines: The Diocese of the Philippines-Vietnam of the Russian Church through its department of Charity and Social Service deliver regular humanitarian aid to poor families in the Province of Quezon in the Philippines, reports the Press Service of the DECR. Several poor families including the elderly, women and kids receive cooked food from the Church.

There is a growing interest in the Orthodox Christian faith among the Filipinos. Catechetical support is provided to those who are interested to baptise in  the Orthodox faith.
