The plea of Bishop Ambrose

The Polish Orthodox Church
29/11/2011

The Holy Trinity cathedral parish in Recife is about to buy land for the construction of a church. Until now, the parishioners were able to collect R$ 29.000, which is about 40% of the required amount of money. The rest of the money will be paid in installments.

The pastor of the parish, Bishop Ambrose of Recife (auxiliary bishop of the Rio de Janeiro and Olinda – Recife Diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church) appeals to all for financial assistance. The parish is small and poor, it will not be able to pay these installments.

People interested in providing assistance for the Polish Orthodox parish in Brazil are asked to contact Bishop Ambrose via his facebook account: http://www.facebook.com/domambrosio.cubas. Bishop Ambrose is fluent in English.
