The pilgrimage of the relics of St. Mary Magdalene

On 23rd August the pilgrimage of the relics of St. Mary Magdalene and the particles of the Tree of the Cross of Christ ended. The organizer of this historic event was the Association of Orthodox Brotherhood of St. St. Cyril and Methodius, headed by the Chairman of the Board – Bazyli Piwnik.
Within a week the holinesses and the delegation of monks from the monastery Simonopetra (St.. Mount Athos) visited Warsaw, Bielsk Podlaski, Kleszczele, Holy Mount of Grabarka, Hajnówka, Słochy Annopolskie, Zwierki, Białystok, Wrocław and Łódz. In all these places clergy and faithful people prepared a warm and dignified welcome. According to estimates, approximately 100 thousands of people bow at the Lord’s Cross and the relics of St. Mary Magdalene.
