The Press Office of the Romanian Patriarchate informs us:

On 31 May 2012, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel received His Excellency Mr. Dusko Kovacevic, the new Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Romania, on an introduction visit, at the Patriarchal Residence.

Mr. Dusko Kovacevic, Serb of Christian Orthodox denomination, thanked for reception and underlined the good diplomatic relations between Romania and Bosnia-Herzegovina, a country who wishes to become a member of the European Union. Further on, Mr. Ambassador made a short presentation of the religious configuration of his country. In this context, His Excellency underlined the fact that in Bosnia-Herzegovina the Christian, Muslim and Mosaic religious communities co-operate within an Inter-religious Council, which fact contributes to the peaceful co-inhabiting of the citizens.

His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel wished every success to the new Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Bucharest and mentioned that in Romania too the religious cults officially recognised co-operate within a Consultative Council of the Religious Cults.
