The Mortal Remains of Patriarch Irinej Moved to the Belgrade Cathedral Church

The mortal remains of Patriarch Irinej of Serbia have arrived at the Belgrade Cathedral Church. The mortal remains were first taken to the Patriarchal Palace and was then moved to the Cathedral Church.

Commemorative prayers were served by Metropolitan Chrysostom of Dabro-Bosnia with  Most Reverend Bishop Jovan of Šumadija, Bishop David of Kruševac and Bishop Arsenij of Niš in the prayerful presence of the Most Reverend Stefan Bishop of Remezija Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch.

The late Patriarch will be buried at the St Sava Cathedral on  22nd Sunday, November 2020. The Serbian government has announced three days of mourning.
