THE FEAST OF SUNDAY OF THE MYRRH-BEARING WOMEN AT THE JERUSALEM PATRIARCHATE

The commemoration of the Myrrh-bearing Women who anointed the Lord with myrrh and saw Him Resurrected was celebrated at the chapel of the Myrrh-bearing Women on Sunday April 9/22, 2018. This chapel is in St. James the Brother of God Cathedral and joins the Hagiotaphite Brotherhood with the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
The Most Reverend Archbishop Demetrios of Lydda attended the D. Liturgy, while the Patriarchal School of Zion students sang in the choir under the lead of Mr. Constantinos Spyropoulos. The Service was attended by a congregation of this parish of the Patriarchate.
The Divine Liturgy was followed by a reception from the “Myrrh-Bearing Women” Club, at the “Outzoud” Community Centre.
