The Crypt of Podgorica’s Cathedral Church of the Resurrection of Christ consecrated

His Eminence Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije and Their Graces Bishops Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic and Joakim of Polog-Kumanovo with clergy and faithful people consecrated on June 30th the crypt of the Cathedral Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica, and they served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy there.
During the Liturgy Metropolitan Amfilohije promoted protosyncellos Kiril (Bojovic) to the rank of an arhimandrite, member of the Cetinje monastery brotherhood, professor of the Seminary of Cetinje and the editor-in-chief of the “Svetigora” periodical. Presbyter Dalibor Milakovic, parish priest at Podgorica, was promoted to the rank of a protopresbyter.
At the end of the Liturgy Metropolitan Amfilohije presented the highest distinction of the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church – the Order of Saint Sava, to Mr. Pavle Milic from Podgorica, for his efforts during the construction of the Podgorica Cathedral Church.
