The Armenian Church Continue to Demand the Resignation of PM Nikol Pashinyan

Yerevan-Armenia: Catholicos-Patriarch Karekin II, the Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Chruch has once again demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan of Armenia.

“There is no change in our convictions and stance,” stated His Holiness Karekin II. In December 2020, the Primate publicly urged the resignation of the Armenian PM in response to the failure of the Armenian Army in defending the people of the Republic of Artsakh against Azeri military and Turkish mercenaries.

“Never before has the country been in such a difficult situation, we’ve never had such a loss of the homeland, the country has never faced such dangers,” stated Krekain II.

Catholicos Aram I of the Greater Hosue of Cilicia also supported Catholicos Karekin II in his appeal against the Armenian PM.
