Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate to remain in Damascus

LEBANON: In the annual Holy Synod of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch which started on 10th September at Atchane, Lebanon, His Holiness substantiated that there will not be any shift at all for the Patriarchate of Holy Syriac Orthodox Church from Damascus, Syria.
His Holiness alos welcomed and accepted newly ordained Archbishops Mor Barthalemius Nathanael Joseph, Mor Timotheos Matta Khoury, Mor Timotheos Mathews Karimpanackal, Mor Yacoub Edwardo and Mor Chrysostomos Yohanna Ghazali as members of the Holy Synod of the Holy Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch at the annual Holy Synod of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch which took palce at Atchane, Lebanon.
