In a historical moment for the Syriac Orthodox Church in Germany, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II signed the official document submitted in the name of the Syriac Orthodox Church in Germany to the German government to obtain legal recognition as a church in the country.
This document is the fruit of years of hard work and the cooperation of many entities in the Patriarchal Vicariate of Germany.
The different parishes and communities throughout Germany will be able to enjoy their new status as churches once the process is completed.
