Synod of Estonian Orthodox Church holds its regular session
On 16 September 2014, a regular session of the Synod of the Estonian Orthodox Church took place in Tallinn under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Kornily of Tallinn and All Estonia.
Bishop Lazar of Narva and Prichudye took part in the meeting.
The participants in the session heard reports on the activities of the Publishing Department and the Department for Education and Catechization of the Estonian Church and considered circular letters that had come in from the Moscow Patriarchate.
The members of the Synod discussed preparation for the celebration of the Synaxis of the Saints of the Estonian Land, due to be held on December 1.
