SVOTS – Music Symposium : Webinar on Healing

SVOTS – Music Symposium : Webinar on Healing

SVOTS – 15/5/2020

In this new Zoom- and Google Meet-friendly world, we have two great events coming up you can enjoy from the safety and comfort of home.

2020 Pan-Orthodox Music Symposium
There’s still time to register for the online Pan-Orthodox Music Symposium happening June 11-13, 2020. And if you act fast (the deadline is tomorrow!), you can also apply for one of the scholarships remaining to attend the Symposium for free. The event, co-hosted by St. Vladimir’s Seminary and the International Society for Orthodox Church Music (ISOCM), features masterclasses, keynote presentations, and workshops. It’s designed for anyone interested in developing their liturgical music skill sets. Hear the Seminary’s director of music, Robin Freeman, preview the event and what you can expect, hereon Ancient Faith Radio. Other major Orthodox music events have had to be canceled this summer, unfortunately, so don’t miss out on the Symposium!

What tools do we, as Orthodox Christians, have to spiritually navigate the challenges and struggles of daily life in the modern world? Join us Tuesday, May 19, for the free, interactive webinar, “The Healing Path Towards Christ” with Paul Karos, founder of Matrona Ministries. The discussion begins at 3 p.m. EDT (Duration: 90 minutes). Questions during the webinar are welcome.
