On the days of the Easter celebration humanity witnessed two more acts of religious violence and brutality. The acts of mass murder of 148 innocent Christian students, which massacred in Garissa University, and the destruction of the Christian church in the northeastern province of Chasaka in Syria. The Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (I.A.O.) as the main international organization to promote peace and coexistence of religion expressed the unequivocal condemnation and these events that affected deeply the body of our society.

In the 20th century believed, that humanity ended the genocide, maturing socially and recognizing the impasse of this perdition. Today, unfortunately we face a religious genocide, which has spread across two continents, which already counts thousands horribly murdered victims.

People are driven to death by the same perpetrators, who previously had destroyed the invaluable cultural legacy of ancient peoples of the East. Murdering the body always is followed by the assassination of the spirit.

Now, we can not only express concern but we ask from the other international peacekeeping organizations their activation for the cessation of violence against the Christian citizens of the States of the Middle East and Africa.

In this effort the I.A.O. places all its forces at the disposal of all those entities that could take action.
