St. Tikhon’s Monastery site of women’s retreat August 22

Saint Tikhon’s Monastery here will be the setting for the annual women’s retreat sponsored by the Department of Curriculum and Education of the OCA Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania on Saturday, August 22, 2015.
Archimandrite Sergius, Abbot of the monastery, will speak on “Orthodox Living in the Modern World: Steps to Spiritual Transformation.” Carole J. Fair, award-winning author and member of Holy Apostles Mission, Mechanicsburg, PA, also will speak. Her topic will be “From Illness to Wellness: My Journey with God to a Kidney Transplant.”
Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the first session at 10:00 a.m.
The $10.00 registration fee includes lunch. Deadline for registration is Thursday, August 13.
