At the end of the second day of the Synaxis, the Primates of the local Eastern Orthodox Churches held services at the Church of Archangels in Istanbul.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew welcomed everyone to the great and holy worship. The Great Service of Akathist Mother of God was led by Pope and Patriarch Theodoros of Alexandria and All Africa.
