Serbian Orthodox Christian Novak Djokovic Creates History by Winning French Open -2021

Belgrade Serbia: Novak Djokovic of Serbia created history by winning his 19th Grand Slam title by beating Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece (6-7 (6/8), 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4) at the French Open on the 13th of June 2021. Djokovic became the first tennis player in fifty-two years to win all four major grand slams twice. This is his second French Open title.

Djokovic is a faithful of the Serbian Orthodox Church. In the year 2011, he was awarded the highest award of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Order of St. Sava of the First Degree by His Holiness Patriarch for his contributions to generosity and religion.

Djokovic is famous for making the sign of the Orthodox cross while playing on the court.
