Schedule of the Canonization Services of the Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide

On April 22, at 21:30 at the Mother Cathedral, a Vigil Service will be offered under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; and with the participation of the Armenian clergy, clergy of the Christian Churches visiting Armenian on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide, and official delegations. (Yerevan-Etchmiadzin-Yerevan bus service is being provided by the Yerevan Municipality for anyone wishing to attend the service. Buses will transport people to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin at 19:00 from the Brazilian Square, near the Hrazdan Stadium).

On the morning of April 23, at 10:00 a Divine Liturgy will be offered in the Mother Cathedral of the Mother See.

In the evening of April 23, at 17: 15, the Canonization of the Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide will be offered at the Open Air Altar in the Mother See. (Yerevan-Etchmiadzin-Yerevan bus service is again being provided by the Yerevan Municipality for those wishing to attend the ceremony. Buses will transport people at 14:00 from the Brazilian Square near the Hrazdan Stadium). Please note – if you are taking your personal vehicle, allow extra time for the journey as the Mesrob Mashtots Street in Etchmiadzin will be closed past the St. Hripsime Church. All thru traffic will be diverted to side roads.
