Riga Orthodox Theological Seminary Invites Application for 2021-22 Academic Year

Riga-Latvia: The Riga Theological Seminary of the Latvian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) has invited applications from prospective students for the 2021-22 academic year (enrollment from July 26 to August 23, 2021). Persons living in Latvia from age 18 to 35 (full-time program), and up to 50 years (correspondence) are eligible to apply.

For admission, the following documents must be submitted to the office of the Riga Theological Seminary.

A petition request addressed to His Eminence Alexander, Metropolitan of Riga and All Latvia (written on the spot).
A recommendation from the parish priest.
Birth certificate (copy).
Certificate (copy) of education.
Baptism certificate (copy).
Certificate (copy) of the wedding (for married people).
Certificate of declaration of the place of residence (available on the Latvija.lv website – “Mani dati Iedzīvotāju reģistrā”).
Medical certificate of health status.
Autobiography.
Passport (copy).
2 photos.

Application is accepted between 11.00 to 15.00 hours
