Damascus: Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on June 11th 2015 in Damascus met with members of the Holy Synod of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, headed by His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II.
The President discussed various topics with His Holiness Ignatius Aphrem II – Patriarch of Antioch and All East and addressed the members of the Holy Episcopal Synod.
