Presbyterian Faithful Bryant Wongum Joins the Ancient Orthodox Church of Malankara

USA: Bryant Wongum, a Presbyterian faithful has joined the ancient Malankara Church. Bryant was a deacon at one of the Presbyterian communities in the United States of America. Bryant Wongum and Adam Penn (another convert) were baptized into Malankara Orthodoxy by Rev. Fr. Gheevarghese John, who is the founding Vicar of St. Luke’s Orthodox Mission Church. Bryant joined the Malankara Church as result of his continued effort in learning Church history, theology, and doctrines as well as the motivation and support provided by the leaders of the St. Luke Orthodox Mission Church.

Malankara Church, (also known as the Malankara Orthodox Church) is an ancient Oriental Orthodox Church established by St. Thomas the Apostle. His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoman Paulose II  (Catholicos on the Apostolic Throne of St. Thomas and Malankara Metropolitan) is the current head of the Church.
