Alexandria-Egypt: His Beatitude Theodore II, the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa was decorated with the golden key of the City of Alexandria, by Mohamed Al Serif, the Governor of Alexandria. The awarding ceremony took place at the State House of the Great City of Alexandria, on the 1st of June 2021. It is the highest honorary distinction in the City of Alexandria.
Thye great honour was granted to Patriarch Theodore II as a token of respect and love as well as for the great missionary work undertaken by the Prelate.
