Cairo-Egypt: Pope Tawadros II, the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria has urged a peaceful settlement between Israel and Palestine. However, he criticised the Israeli attack on Palestinians. The Primate hoped that all warring parties will go to the negotiating table to end the bloodshed at the earliest.
Pope also applauded the political efforts undertaken by the Egyptian government to curb the ongoing conflict.
